In October we started our journey back out to Arizona with a stop in Rogers, Ark. While we were there I had a great reunion with some high school friends. We had the great time, some even came back a second night to watch the Razorbacks game. Loved seeing, Karen Webb Bryant, Lynette Harris, Regina Mann, and Sarah Jackson.
Girls Night Out!
After leaving Tampa in our new RV, we had an RV Open House Party in Bradenton. We wanted to see our friends in town before we left the area. I think at one time we have 19 people in our RV. Thanks everyone for taking the time to come see us off. I can’t believe I forgot to take a picture!
We made it to Orange Beach, Alabama. One of our favorite places to stay is Bella Terra, in Foley. Beautiful RV Community. Great to hook up with friends there, Nancy & Bill. My sister, Cindy, flew into Mobile to meet us. We had a good time, hope she did as well. We took her on a Dolphin Sunset Cruise by “Surf’s Up. Best cruise for $12.00 ! They did an outstanding job.
Cindy then rode to Arkansas with us in the RV. Her first RV Road trip! Had a great time with my sister.
We bought ourselves a new RV! We ordered a 2017 Winnebago, Grand Tour from Lazydays and it’s finally here! We spent a couple of weeks there waiting on it to come in, then moved into the new rig. We are loving it!
We also met some wonderful people in the Crown Club at Lazydays. We love making new friends that we know we will hook up with somewhere along our journey. You guys all made our stay at Lazydays more enjoyable, Fred & Shelley, Paul & Casey, Troy & Ginny….well, it could have been the free cocktails!
After a wonderful time in the New England states we went to Gatlinburg, TN. 20 years ago we got married at a “Chapel in the Glen”. Lee surprised me by booking the same chapel to renew our vows. This is one of the many reasons I love him so!

We spent several days in Gatlinburg driving the beautiful scenic roads with beautiful views and lots of waterfalls. We saw several bear along the way.
What a great summer! Our travels after leaving Ohio began in Essex Junction, Vermont where the Escapees Rally was held. The Rally was great and we were able to see a lot of friends and customers we hadn’t seen for a while, as well as met some wonder new friends.
After the rally we headed over to Burlington, Vermont. Gracie took her first ferry ride to State Park Point Au Roche, New York. We had a great day of hiking around the park on Lake Champlain.
You can’t go to Vermont without a stop at Ben & Jerry’s! A little disappointed in the tour. The history movie wasn’t working that day, and the ice cream production was not running, they had met the quota early that week so they stopped early. However, all was welcome with the free samples of ice cream! Afterwards made a couple of stops for maple syrup, cheese, and maple ice cream.
Market Street is a good stop for, dinning, shopping, and wine tasting. Very nice open air area with a lot of street performers. And dog friendly! We had a great dinner with Rick Wise and Cindy Hero. We had met them at Lazydays in Tampa and happened to be in Vermont at the same time. We had dinner at Breakwaters on Lake Champlain. The lake is absolutely beautiful. It’s so big, you think you are overlooking the ocean.
Next we headed over to Freedom, New Hampshire. One day we drove up Mount Washington, and I mean up! It was a must see when you are in the area. The drive is steep and scary, but I wouldn’t have missed it.
We also went whale watching on the Atlantic Queen in Rye, NH. We had a great time but disappointed we didn’t see any humpback whales. We did see several Minke and Finback whales.
A short drive to Maine, we went to Light Head Lighthouse Park. It was a beautiful with a lot of trails to walk along the Atlantic.
Then off to Pittsburgh, Massachusetts for the FMCA Rally. Another great rally for us to attend.
What a great month to be in Ohio! First week we’re here the Cavaliers won their first championship, first Cleveland sports team win in 52 years. And now the Cleveland Browns are coming on strong.
We’ve had a great time visiting family and friends. We spent 3 days at Kalahari Water Park with Holly, Audrey and Charlie, and Sarah & Dave. Audrey, Lee & I zip lined for the first time. Fun!
We made a quick trip over to Middleburg, IN to see our wonderful friends, Mark, Amber and Wyatt. As always, Amber out did herself on a fabulous dinner. They live on the most beautiful lake there. Gracie wasn’t too sure about the fireworks, but managed just fine.

We had to make a dinner stop at Bertha Thaxton’s in West Lake, OH. She fixed us a wonderful dinner, as always. Gracie loves getting lovin’ from Bertha.
Go Indians! We went to the Cleveland Indian’s game against Detroit Tigers on July 4th evening. A WIN! Had a great time with Holly, Dave, Sarah, Dave, Dave’s brother, mom & dad.
One of our favorite’s, Aunt Ginny turned 100 this July. We missed her big birthday party, but glad we got to have some great one on one time with her. Love you, Aunt Ginny!
And saving the best news for last! Sarah & Dave are engaged! We couldn’t be happier for the both of them. Glad we can now welcome Dave, officially to the family! So the wedding plans begin.
It’s been way too long since my last post. It’s time to catch up. Since my last post, we were back to Florida where our friends Roger & Karen from Arizona came to visit. Lee & I had a great time being their tour guides. We took them to the Chart Art Festival in Venice, Sand Sculpting at Siesta Key, and in the Everglades we all went on a air boat rides. We also had nightly Hand & Foot cards, which I regret to say the boys were the big winners.
We were in Florida until the end of December 2015. After leaving we made a short stop in Arkansas to see my family. Next off to California for our 2016 RV Show season where we were able to spend time with our Canadian friends, Ernie & Shirley. We spent a day visiting a few of California wineries with them. They sure love our Gracie. I have to keep a close watch on them not to kidnap her!
Then off to our annual 10 days in Quartzsite, AZ for the big RV show in the middle of the desert. Then to Phoenix, AZ for January through April. Once it starts getting too hot we headed back toward Florida with a nice stop in Orange Beach, AL. We spent 6 weeks back in Florida for May & June, 2016.
Gracie is now 16 months old and we couldn’t be more in love with her. She has stolen our hearts as well as all of our friends along the way.
We are now in Jekyll Island for a week for an Insurance Conference to talk to adjusters about RV Armor. It sure is hot & humid here. After Arizona weather we forgot how humid it gets there.
We’re a little sad leaving Gulf Shores. We spent a month at the most beautiful place, Bella Terra RV Resort in Foley. We will definitely be back.

We went on a dolphin sunset cruise where the dolphins put on quite a show for us. Gulf Shores has so many places to eat on the waterfront. One of our favorites is Cobalt’s, great happy hour, great food.
Off to Florida for 3 months!

We decided it was finally time for another puppy. While in Rogers, I posted on Facebook that we were looking for a Bishon. A friend of mine, Karen Bryant, knew of 4 Bishon puppies through For Pete Sake Pet Rescue. We fell in love as soon as we saw her. The next day, Gracie got to come home with us. She was 15 weeks old when we got her.

Since we got Gracie, she has become a great little traveler. We are now in Goshen, Indiana for the Glamarama RV Show. Saturday night our friend, Amber asked us out to their lake house for dinner. What a beautiful night by the water with friends. How could we resist a picture perfect moment with Gracie.
This year’s theme at the rally was “Out of this World”. So the parade had to be about ………yes, Aliens! This was the first show Brad & Stella went along to help us out at the rally. We had such a great time, I just forgot to take pictures of them at the show.
