Where RV Now

Thanks so much to Uncle Al & Aunt Sue for hosting a Memorial Day Cookout.  The hamburgers were great, but Charlie says “the hot dogs were the best he ever had!”  The guys played Corn Hole, then we all joined in a game of Guesstures. I think the guys might have won.  The pool was open for Charlie & Audrey to swim in, a little chilly but they didn’t let that stop them.  It was great seeing everyone.

Lee & I are at Woodside Lake Park in  Streetsboro, Ohio for a few days visiting with his family.  Today we enjoyed a day in the park to celebrate our great nephew, Camden’s first birthday.  He surprised us all when he went face first into his cake.  He must really like his cake!  What a beautiful day it was.  Tomorrow will be a great day with Uncle Al & Aunt Sue, can’t wait!

The aliens have landed!   We were in Roswell, NM for a few days working on a RV roof.  The town is known for the Aliens visit in 1947.  We didn’t had the time to go to the Alien Museum, but everywhere you looked you could see them.

On the way into Roswell we had our first dust storm experience. OMG!  Never again…I hope.   It was so scary. Once we realized what we were getting into it was too late to turn around or stop.  I think I prayed for at least an hour straight for the winds to stop & to make it through safely.  We could not see 3 feet in front of us. And sure could see a place to pull over. If you stop, someone would have ran into you.   I spend a day cleaning the inside of the RV to get the dust out.

We have seen many Meerkats in zoos  but I don’t remember ever seeing them in a nature setting.  There was one field in Roswell that they were always out.  I’m not sure they are wanted there, they really tear up the ground.
